Well, Here we are... Many have said that we should write a blog, a book or have our own TV show. That all seems crazy to me, as we just live our lives and laugh a lot.
Ryan and I started dating officially on February 21, 2009, and what a whirlwind it's been since. We each came into our relationship, both living with our parents after messy breakups, knowing exactly what we wanted, what we liked and each with a son. Logan was 4 and Dryden was 2. Our first "date" was a play date with the boys, where we had McDonalds in his parents kitchen. I knew, sitting there at that table, just the 4 of us, that it was what I wanted for my life.
Fast forward to today, 3 more boys (Braxton, Magnus and Sheamus), 3 houses and a lot of dirty diapers, hands and feet later, and It. Is. Chaos. We currently have a 12, 10, 5 and 2 2.5 year olds. That's right; we tried for a girl and got TWIN BOYS. Our house is insane; lots of wrestling, crying, super heroes, bare butts, poop and pee talk, burps, farts, and now urine (we are potty training... ugh). We also have 2 MALE dogs. One is an old man, and one is a pup. I am outnumbered. By a long shot. Life is busy and exhausting and amazing and exhausting and chaotic and exhausting and... zzzzz....
Every day is a new adventure, and I hope that you stick with us to come along. Someone is always doing something adorable, something sneaky, something funny, or all of the above. We laugh a lot. We set boundaries. We have rules. We have challenges. We have setbacks. But we LOVE. And we love hard. And that's what this blog will be all about....
And always.... Pee on the Toilet Seat.
